Voting is now open for all three 2021 Leeds Doctoral College Showcase Competitions: the poster competition, 3-minute thesis competition and the image competition.

The competitions are a celebration of the contributions our postgraduate researchers make to their disciplines – and to wider society. The winners, who are competing for a range of awards, will be announced by Professor Luke Windsor the Dean of the Doctoral College on Wednesday 19th May.

The poster competition

Discover the wide range of research that our talented postgraduate researchers are undertaking here at Leeds. 24 entrants have each created a poster and a short 5-minute video to explain their research to a non-specialist audience.

Everyone can take part in the public vote for the most popular poster! Click here to vote for your favourite poster.

Image competition

The challenge we set our postgraduate researchers for this competition was: 'Can you explain the key point of your research with just one image and one short paragraph of explanation, to a non-specialist audience?'. Browse our entries and tell us who do you think has provided the best combination of image and description to engage you in understanding their research and wanting to know more?
