Minerva
Minerva is the University’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) that enables staff to create and manage online teaching areas and to communicate with students. It uses Blackboard technology with a wide range of in-built and integrated tools for interactive learning, assessment and grading.

PebblePad
PebblePad is a versatile application, enabling the gathering of learning and development material in one easily accessible place. Tutors can provide scaffolds for students to work from or invite students to initiate their own projects.

Mediasite
Mediasite is the University’s Lecture Capture and Multimedia system.
It allows you to record, edit and share digital content. Mediasite can automatically record taught sessions if they have been set up on the University timetable, but you can also record ad-hoc sessions in teaching spaces, screencasts or upload video and audio files to Mediasite.
You can access Mediasite via the homepage in Minerva or by logging in via the Mediasite Leeds Login Page
Panopto, our new lecture capture and media enhanced learning system will replace Mediasite by September 2026.Â
