Connected Leadership Programme
The Connected Leadership Programme is designed for established leaders seeking to explore leadership from the perspective of the individual, team, and the organisation.
This page provides an overview of the Connected Leadership programme. Full details are available for colleagues on the Staff Intranet (requires UoL login).

This programme emphasises connected, collaborative, and values-driven leadership, helping you develop self-awareness, improve strategic thinking, and lead and inspire teams more effectively. You'll also learn strategies to build resilience, embrace adaptability, and foster positive change within your role.
Who is it for?
This programme is designed for staff who have held a leadership role for at least 12 months and contribute to advancing the University’s strategic goals.  Leadership at the University takes many forms, and not all leaders hold formal management authority.
How does it work?
The programme has two flexible components. You can choose to complete just the Core Pathway, focus solely on specialist modules, or combine both:
- The Core Pathway – This option offers a structured, in-depth exploration of core leadership practices. This pathway is ideal for senior leaders and includes two full-day workshops, a 360-degree assessment and participation in an action learning group.
- Specialist Modules – These six modules each consist of three workshops and are perfect for individuals wishing to focus on specific leadership skills. You can sign up for a single module to concentrate on one area or combine multiple modules to target the competencies you want to develop.
