Pebble+

Pebble+ is the first component of PebblePad and it is the personal learning space. It offers tools to create records of learning, experience and achievement, and for staff to create template scaffolds to support students in producing structured projects.

  • Introduction to PebblePad and the Dashboard - navigation and the dashboard focused on Pebble+, the personal learning space
  • Workbook Basics - basic structure of a Workbook, a multi-page template that can be used as a scaffold with sections for students to fill in
  • Portfolio Basics - basic structure of a Portfolio, a multi-page presentation that contains two or more Assets
  • Beyond the Basics of Workbooks - advanced content blocks, nested Workbooks, advanced properties
  • Beyond the Basics of Portfolios - advanced content blocks, nested portfolios, advanced properties
  • Template Basics - create a Template, a single page that can stand alone outside a workbook, with its own content blocks.
  • Page Basics - create a Portfolio Page, a single page that can stand alone outside a Portfolio, with its own content blocks and creativity.
  • Collection Basics - create a Collection, a single page that can bring together Assets based on tags, asset type or date range
  • Blog Basics - create a Blog, a single asset, with its own Posts, content blocks and creativity.

LinkedIn Learning Pathway: Introduction to PebblePad

If you are interested in learning more about what PebblePad can do, have a look at the LinkedIn Learning Pathway. Aimed at all staff interested in using PebblePad, academic and professional, this first Learning Pathway covers: an introduction to the PebblePad dashboard; a basic understanding of assets and resources, an introduction to Workbooks and Portfolios and an introduction to the ATLAS dashboard. LinkedIn Learning Pathways aimed at intermediate and advanced levels are currently being developed.
