New to teaching or Leeds? Book our Foundations in Teaching course

Our Foundations in Teaching (FiT) course is an online and self-paced course from OD&PL which provides information and advice to those new to teaching at Leeds, or new to teaching.
The course is delivered throughout the year online, and there is no time limit to complete it. The core of the Foundations in Teaching course is estimated to take 3 hours, with an additional 2-4 hours of optional activities and the chance to explore related links.
Book on to our Foundations in Teaching course

Following the course, participants are invited to optional focussed synchronous sessions to support teaching development in specific areas and continue to get access to course resources.
The course is very good - thank you. Some areas of the course have confirmed what I do, others have highlighted resources which I was unaware of. Perhaps the most helpful aspect will be having access to the course materials as a reference point all in one place. This will be hugely useful.
To book visit our course catalogue. Once signed up, we will enrol participants onto the course in Minerva.
