We work collaboratively with a range of teams across our University to ensure that the provision we offer is aligned with our wider organisational strategies and policies. OD&PL work in collaboration with the Business Change team in supporting individuals and teams leading cross institutional change initiatives. The Delivering Results toolkit which has been developed by Business Change is integral to our project management and change management provision.
We work with the Communications Team to provide public communication-related development, including working with the media, writing for the web and using social media.
Digital Education Service
We play an active part in supporting our university’s digital strategy and supporting colleagues to develop their digital practice.
We collaborate on the design and development of resources and courses to support inclusivity in student education.
We are a key delivery partner of our university’s Doctoral College and provide a range of development to our community of postgraduate researchers and supervisors.
Facilities Support Services
We work in partnership with Facilities Support Services to support lecture theatre and central teaching space technologies available for staff, to support student education.
OD&PL is part of the wider HR function at the University and we work closely with HR colleagues on all aspects of people development from induction through to leadership development.
We work in partnership with IT to support technologies available for staff and students, including lecture capture and media management and Office 365.
Leeds Institute for Teaching Excellence (LITE)
LITE and OD&PL have a shared focus on developing and promoting best practice in student education across our academic community.
We work in partnership with a range of Library teams to support student education and research.
Research and Innovation Service
We work closely with RIS to develop the quality and success rate of research funding applications, promote interdisciplinary research collaboration and enhance our research impact.
Student Education Service
We work with the Student Education Service (SES) to support organisational development and the needs of SES staff.
Wellbeing, Safety and Health
We work collaboratively with Wellbeing, Safety and Health to offer development to support your resilience and wellbeing. As part of this, we work with the Staff Counselling and Psychological Support Service to deliver bespoke events both to support staff and to assist areas of the university experiencing change. We have developed a highly valued partnership where SCPSS deliver a wide range of workshops aimed at developing staff personal resilience.
OD&PL are also partners on the Integrating Staff Support to Improve Wellbeing at Work group (ISSIWAW.)
