LinkedIn is providing a series of events to help you get the most out of your LinkedIn profile and the LinkedIn Learning platform, which all students and staff at Leeds get free access to. You can find out more about accessing LinkedIn Learning in our introduction guide.

Rock your LinkedIn profile

Take a step to make the most of your LinkedIn profile. Join this session to learn what it takes to build a great profile that speaks directly to your ideal audience and get your questions answered by a LinkedIn expert. This one hour webinar enables you to:

  • Recognize the value of your LinkedIn profile as part of your brand
  • Identify 2-3 qualities to highlight across your profile
  • Apply 3-4 best practices for building an engaging profile

Several dates are available from Wednesday 16 February - Wednesday 30 March.

An introduction to LinkedIn Learning

Join this one-hour live webinar to get started on your LinkedIn Learning journey. LinkedIn will provide data and insights around why learning should be a priority and how it can benefit both you and your career. Leave this webinar with knowledge, tips for the platform, and a checklist to help you succeed with LinkedIn Learning.

Dates are available on Wednesday 23 February, Thursday 24 February and Thursday 24 March.

Student Success with LinkedIn Learning Webinar

In this webinar for students and colleagues, LinkedIn will explore how students can leverage the LinkedIn network and other powerful tools to prepare for the workforce, as well as focus on the most in-demand skills for 2022. This interactive session will cover:

  • How to build your network
  • How you can take advantage of LinkedIn's alumni tool and other powerful tools to create a strong network and help you with your job search
  • What are the most in-demand skills for 2022

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to hear how others are supporting their students in preparing for their careers.

The event takes place on Wednesday 16 February from 1pm - 2pm.

Academic Success with LinkedIn Learning Webinar (For Staff)

In this webinar for staff, LinkedIn will focus on how colleagues involved in student education can get the most out of LinkedIn Learning and successfully embed it in your teaching. In the session, LinkedIn will explore best practices, share tips and skills insights.

The session takes place on Wednesday 16 March from 1pm.
