About the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship
If you aspire to work in a management role or to develop your career as a manager, the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA) could be your next step. Applications are open to join the next CMDA in February 2023, the deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday 25 November 2022.
This degree apprenticeship, delivered by the Lifelong Learning Centre, it intends to develop and strengthen the leadership and management skills of new and existing managers to become confident in their role by expanding their skills and knowledge of fundamental business concepts such as project management, business finance and marketing.
You will explore the functional, operational and strategic aspects of management across five themed pathways: consultancy, leadership, skills, innovation and decision-making.
The BSc (Hons) Business Management and Leadership, studied as part of the apprenticeship, is designed to complement your role, enabling you to apply your learning and make an impact and you could also achieve Chartered Manager (CMgr) status, the gold standard for the profession.
The next programme starts in February 2023 and takes 4 years part-time to complete the programme – fees for the course are paid by the University.
It is ideal for Managers, Senior Managers, Heads of Department, Operations Managers, Senior Administrators or anyone with significant management responsibilities – entry requirements are available on the course overview page.

Employer Information Session - Tuesday 13 September 2022, 1pm to 2pm
If you're thinking about the CMDA for you or one of your team then this session is for you. Book your place on the CMDA employer information session on Tuesday 13 September to hear from the Chartered Management Institute, as well as employers of current apprentices here at Leeds. The teaching team will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
Campus Tour - Tuesday 11 October 2022, 1pm - 2pm
Attend a campus tour on Tuesday 11 October for a chance to meet the teaching and support teams for the CMDA. You will be shown around campus and have a chance to find out more about the course.
